Ugra-Karma Wasteland

My recent article about the all pervasive, ugly nature of ugra-karma which infects modern society. And a few quotes to compliment the article:

“A heap of broken images, where the sun beats” T.S. Eliot, “The Waste Land”

“I walk through rooms of the dead, streets of the dead, cities of the dead; men without eyes, men without voices; men with manufactured feelings and standard reactions; men with newspaper brains, television souls and high school ideas.” Charles Bukowski, “Sunlight Here I Am”

“If you feel pain, you’re alive. If you feel other people’s pain, you’re a human being.” — Fyodor Dostoevsky

“To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair.” Arundhati Roy, “The Cost of Living”
